I need help!! PLZ!!?
I don't know why your not doing your homework yourself. What grade is this stuff? You should think more about these questions they pretty much give you the answer. I'll help you with most of the ones I remember.

I need help!! PLZ!!?

1 . What must happen in order to see an object?

A. Light must be reflected.

B. The object must be translucent.

C. The object must be opaque.

D. Light must be absorbed.

Light enables us to see. Most objects, however, are non-luminous. They do not produce their own light, but they do reflect some of the light that strikes them. When light strikes most objects, it is not reflected in just a certain direction, but is scattered in all directions. This allows the object to be seen from different viewing positions. A person located anywhere in the pathway of the scattered light will receive light from the object and thus be able to see the object.

If there is no light to illuminate our surroundings, we cannot see any of the objects around us. In simplest terms: No light, no sight.

2 . What is a material through which all light passes called?

A. opaque

B. primary

C. transparent

D. translucent

Think of the transparences that teachers use on overhead projectors. They are clear and let light pass through

3 . What color light is a mixture of all visible wavelengths of the spectrum?

A. black

B. red

C. cyan

D. white

The white light is a mixture of the colors of the visible spectra.

4 . What color are objects that absorb all colors that reflect little light?

A. white

B. magenta

C. black

D. red

So if white is all the colors of the spectrum, black is the opposite and sucks up all the color. Think Black Hole. Nothing escapes it.

5 . Which of the following is not a primary color of light?

A. magenta

B. red

C. blue

D. green

Primary colors may either be additive or subtractive. The additive primary colors are red, green, and blue. The subtractive primary colors are cyan, yellow, and magenta.

6 . Which of the following is not a primary color of pigments?

A. magenta

B. red

C. cyan

D. yellow

A color printer uses tiny dots of magenta, cyan, and yellow to produce a multitude of colors and black.

7 . What is a material that allows you to see some light through it but not all?

A. reflected

B. translucent

C. transparent

D. opaque

Opaque-

Definition: 1. not transparent or translucent: impervious to light, so that images cannot be seen through it

2. not shiny: dull and without luster

3. hard to understand: obscure and unintelligible in meaning

4. physics impenetrable by radiation: impenetrable by a specific form of radiation

Translucent-Definition:

1. letting light through diffusely: allowing light to pass through, but only diffusely, so that objects on the other side cannot be clearly distinguished

a translucent membrane

2. glowing: having a glowing appearance, as if light were coming through translucent skin

8 . Which part of the eyeball contains cone cells?

A. lens

B. retina

C. cornea

D. optic nerve

9 . Which source of light uses heat?

A. incandescent

B. fluorescent

C. potassium

D. luminescent

10 . Which type of lighting is the most inefficient?

A. incandescent

B. fluorescent

C. potassium

D. luminescent

11 . Which color is produced by blending the primary pigments?

A. black

C. magenta

D. cyan

12 . What happens to light waves when they change speed passing from one medium into another?

A. concave lens

B. convex mirror

C. convex lens

D. concave mirror

17 . What is an image called that appears to be inside a flat mirror?

A. virtual

B. real

C. optical

D. focal

18 . What is the point called outside a concave mirror though which light rays are reflected?

A. optical axis

B. virtual point

C. focal point

D. optical point

If you are looking at something and are focused on one point the then the lights reflecting to one point is?

19 . Which lens is wider in its center and thinner on the edges?

A. focal

B. virtual

C. concave

D. convex

Well a concave goes inward, convex goes out ward. Which means the concave has more glass on the outer creating the cone for the center when the mirror is made and the convex is the one that has the lump in the middle.

20 . Which of the following is true regarding people with astigmatism?

A. They cannot see objects up close.

B. They cannot see objects near.

C. They have blurry vision at all distances.

D. They are blind.

You need to just copy and paste the questions into yahoo and get the answers that way. You need to pay attention more in school.
