How did I lose 2 gigs on my computer?

I started working on a video slide show with Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 and I had 15.5 free gigs on my Local C disk. When I tried and failed to burn it on a dvd, (due to lack of virtual resources i believe) My local C disk only had 13.2 gigs. Does anyone know how I lost 2 gigs? I cant find any file that must have been created during this process.

The slide show is there on your hard drive someplace, you just have to find it. Start, Search, all files and folders, what size is it, specify size, 2048000 KB, more advanced options, search system folders, search hidden files and folders, search subfolders, SEARCH. It should come up with all files over 2 gigs. Figure out which one is you slide show.. to clean up and make even move free space, run disk cleanup program that comes with windows, and then for even more, download and run Ccleaner ( http://www.filehippo.com/download_cclean... ) anti-spyware programs can also free up space and resources... Good luck.
Reply:not enough information. try system restore to before you lost the 2GB
Reply:i think its because some software may occupied it all go to control panel then click add or remove programs and see if any software has a lot of space occupied on your computer good luck!
