SQL Server 2005 Restore?

Im trying to transfer my backup files from a production SQL Srvr 2000 instance into an instance of SQL Server 2005 Dev. Edition(Windows Server 2003 - Virtual Server). When I go through the Restore process it errors out looking for a D: drive. We only have a c: drive cause we're just testing on a Virtual Server. Why does it need a D: drive, is it because the instance it came from was backed-up to a D: drive? Also, what stored proc runs the restore process? Thanks!!

SQL Server 2005 Restore?
Possible Cause -

The backup file from which you are trying to restore database had its Primary Data File (mdf) or Transaction Log File (ldf) on drive d.

Solution :

In the Restore dialog window, correct the location of Primary Data File and Transaction Log File to (C:) drive.

.
Reply:Simply copy/paste .mdf and .ldf files

and attach them to SS2005. It works.
