What does this mean?

Once in a while a little box appears with the heading"MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY"and below that is"RUNTIME ERROR! and R6025 -pure virtual function call.At the bottom of the box is an OK square to click. What does all this mean,is it important or what?

What does this mean?
well, if your windows is not crashing then it's ok, what that means that some application is crashing(the .dll file that is associated with that program),it could also be some 'invisible' program like adware or spyware... if you search google for error R6025 you'll see that there are many pages with same error in Microsoft products..powerpoint, word, access...if you don't see anything crashing then what you can do is go Start/Run msconfig , go to Startup tab, and uncheck the programs that you don't need to use, also check for weird stuff.

good luck
Reply:I'm not really sure without looking at the error myself.

Microsoft Visual C++ is a programming language. (one that i'm extremely familiar with)

The program you are using must have been programmed incorrectly or you are using the program incorrectly.

The most damage that will happen to your computer will be the work that you were doing with the particular program will be lost. So save often. To fix the problem you might want to reinstall the program or contact customer support for the program.

If this message just pops up for no reason, your computer might have some sort of virus that isn't running correctly (which is probably a good thing). If thats the case, you might want to run some sort of virus scan on your computer.

Hope this helps.
Reply:everyone that answerd this is a dork, just get a registry mechanic for your computer, free if you look in the right places on the net, lets it run, takes two minutes, fixes all your problems that you are talking about.... i could say more, but im lazy....
