Help! Desperate to know what this song is!?

There is a song which has, what sounds like children singing the chorus. The song sounds similar to a Soul II Soul song but it's not by them.





I have just found a virtual keyboard on the internet. The tune they sing goes:


F G# C


F (further up the keyboard not the same as the first F) D# (going back down the keyboard) C A# G# F.


Does this help anyone?! I can't read music so have no idea if this makes sense!

I just played those notes on my piano and you know what? I know the song, but cannot for the life of me remember what it is called!!! It'll come to me. Watch this space.

I've just played that tune 50 times and it's finally come to me .... I can sing the song and I know the artist - just gonna get you the correct title, give me a few mins!!





Nice one Paul ... Though I was thinking of another track from the late 80's that has a similar beat.


I think it was either by C %26amp; C Music Factory or De La Soul but i'm buggered if I can remember the title.

lol, you probably think i'm on drugs and this has been doing my head in ever since you posted the Q but it's annoying me cause the tune i'm thinking of I should know but hey ho!!!

Reply:maybe it's just because of the speed i am playing at or maybe it's me turning it into something it's not but when i'm playing it, it's coming out as smoke on the water by deep purple but that could be my mind playing trick son me trying to turn it into something i recognise, but anyway thats my guess, sorry if it's wrong but i can tell you on ething it is definately not pink floyd if it was floyd i would know it straight off.
