Physics help please?

A dedicated sports-car enthusiast polishes the inside and outside surfaces of a hubcap that is a section of a sphere. When he looks into one side of the hubcap, he sees an image of his face 32.5 cm behind the hubcap. He then turns the hubcap over and sees another image of his face 9.7 cm behind the hubcap.

(a) How far is his face from the hubcap?

cm

(b) What is the radius of curvature for the hubcap?

cm

(c) What is the magnification for each image?

First Image =

Second Image =

(d) Are the images virtual or real?

First Image real virtual

Second Image real virtual

(e) Are the images upright or inverted?

First Image upright inverted

Second Image upright inverted

Physics help please?
1/s -1/32.5 =1/f = 2/R; concave;

1/s -1/9.7 =-1/f = -2/R; convex;

1/s -1/32.5 +1/s -1/9.7 =0;

(a)♠ s=2/(1/32.5 +1/9.7) =14.94 cm;

1/14.94 -1/32.5 =2/R;

(b)♣ R=55.31 cm;

(c1)♥ m=32.5/14.94 = 2.18;

(c2)♥ m=9.7/14.94 = 0.65;

(d) both virtual;

f=R/2=27.65cm, so

(e1)♦ invert;

(e2)♦ upright;

I have always hated optics!
