Problem with a game that i have brought.?

I've just brought a game for my pc(it's xp).When i loaded it in it came up saying C:\PROGRA~1\symantec\s32EVNT1.Dll .An installable virtual device driver failed Dll initialization.Choose 'close' to terminate the application.If anyone can help me solve this i'll give you 5 stars.I'm that desprate to play this game!!!!!!!!!

3- "C:\PROGRA~1\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver Failed Dll initialization" problem





This error happens when you uninstall Norton antivirus or some times Norton security works. Uninstall process does not remove some shared DLLs and S32EVNT1.DLL is one of them. So by opening an EXE file (especially 16 bit applications) This error message will be displayed. If you click "Ignore", the program will run but it will display the error message again. Maybe this error affect program and you will not get desired results.





To solve this problem, find the S32EVNT1.DLL in %SystemRoot%\system32 and delete it. Also there is a file named SYMEVENT.TXT. This is a text file and it is not important. You can read it and get more information about it. Then go to "Start =%26gt; Run =%26gt; regedt32 -%26gt; edit -%26gt; find". Enter S32EVNT1.DLL as the keyword then press "Enter". It must find in shared DLL's folder. delete it and continue. Delete every item contain S32EVNT1.DLL. Restart your computer and run the 16 bit application again. The programs will work without any error message.
